Yes, I hand-painted the gold details. For hours. With an artist’s paintbrush. And LOVED every minute of it! So therapeutic!
I know. I want to keep it. I really do. But, it just doesn’t “fit” into our master plan here at “Casa1404″.

i just about DIED when i saw this because i have one in my garage i painted EXACTLY like it. i am just waiting for the pulls to come. and i can’t post it on the blog because it is one of the pieces i saved for the magazine article (local mag). seriously dying friend. it is awesome!
